Quotes
Quotes are given in writing after an inspection and are valid for 30 days. The price stated is the price you pay for the work described. If something is found once the roof is opened up that could not have been seen from the outside, we stop, show you, and agree any change in writing before continuing. We do not add costs without telling you first.
The guarantee
Workmanship is guaranteed in writing for 10 years from completion. GRP and EPDM flat roof systems also carry a manufacturer-backed material guarantee of up to 25 years, subject to the manufacturer's own terms. The guarantee covers our work. It does not cover storm damage, accidental damage, later alterations by somebody else, or fair wear and tear.
Insurance
We hold £1,000,000 public liability insurance. A copy of the certificate is available on request and we are happy to show it before work starts.
Payment
No deposit is taken for repair work. On larger jobs where materials are ordered in, a staged payment schedule is agreed in writing before work begins. Final payment is due on completion.
Access and scaffold
Where scaffold is needed it is included in the quoted price unless stated otherwise. We need reasonable access to the property and, where scaffold crosses a neighbouring property or the public highway, any permission or licence required is arranged before work starts.
Cancellation
If you booked the work following a visit to your home you have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. If you asked us to start within that period and then cancel, we may charge for work already carried out and materials already ordered.
