Privacy policy

This policy explains what we do with the information you give us when you ask for a quote or ring us. It is short because we do not do very much with it.

What we collect

When you fill in a quote form we collect your name, phone number, postcode, the service you selected and anything you type in the message box. We also record how you arrived at the site, which includes advertising click identifiers and campaign tags, so we can tell which advertising actually produces enquiries.

What we use it for

• Calling you back about the enquiry you made
• Booking and carrying out a roof inspection
• Sending you a written quote
• Measuring which advertising works, in aggregate

We do not sell your details to anybody. We do not pass them to other trades. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for two years. If we carry out work for you, job records are kept for seven years because the workmanship guarantee runs for ten and we need to be able to honour it.

Cookies and tracking

The site uses Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta and Microsoft advertising tags. These load in a consent-denied state until you accept, and they set cookies only once you do. We also set a first-party cookie recording how you reached the site, so an enquiry can be matched to the advert that produced it. See the cookie policy for the detail.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email swiftroofingcontractorsuk@gmail.com and we will deal with it within a month. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
