What we found under the felt
The previous single-layer felt had blistered along the seams and split at the abutment with the pitched tiled roof, letting water track down the internal wall of the extension. The timber deck below was sound but two of the drip trims had corroded and the lead flashing had been sealed with mastic rather than dressed properly into the mortar course.
What we did
Stripped the failed covering back to a clean deck, laid a full three-layer torch-on system with a mineral cap sheet, dressed fresh code 4 lead into a chased mortar joint, and fitted new powder-coated drip trims. Left tidy and watertight the same afternoon. Backed by a written 10-year workmanship guarantee and covered by our £1,000,000 public liability insurance.

"Luke was professional and reassuring regarding what my roof requirements were. He gave options for the work. Once agreed terms and quote. Was given a very realistic time scale for start and how long the work would take. To his word, his crew arrived on date and time agreed. They were polite and respectful of my property. All works completed to satisfaction and on time. Pre and post photographs were taken so easy to see what work was carried out. The crew; James, Freddie and Ryan were very competent and cleared away all rubbish.
